DatelineHockey.com was developed in August of 2008 by two women with one thing in mind:  to present hockey news differently.  While the site may be similar in appearance to many other sports news websites, we like to write hockey news that’s interesting, sometimes entertaining and informative.  It’s our goal to present hockey news in a way that it’s understandable to just about anyone: die-hard hockey fans; new hockey fans; young hockey fans; old hockey fans; those of us who are middle aged; women as well as men.  And why do we want to do this?  Because everyone deserves a chance to understand a great sport, and hopefully, to find it interesting enough to attend games and become part of a growing community of one of the greatest fan groups in professional sports.
