FILE - In this Sept. 20, 2005, file photo, Phoenix Coyotes coach Wayne Gretzky watches play during an NHL hockey preseason game against the Los Angeles Kings in Glendale, Ariz. Gretzky has agreed to give a deposition in the fight in U.S. Bankruptcy Court over who will own the Coyotes and where the team will play. The former hockey standout, who coaches the team and owns a small share of it, reached an agreement with the city of Glendale over the deposition and the sharing of documents.

Phoenix Coyotes owner Jerry Moyes has challenged Jerry Reinsdorf's bid to buy the financially troubled hockey team. In a motion filed in bankruptcy court on Thursday, Moyes' attorney said that Reinsdorf's bid "cannot be approved as a matter of law" and that "there are no qualified bidders" based on terms set by the court.
